Andrew Clermont is a towering figure in more ways than one! As a frequent visitor to his native turf, he has been one of the constant, shining lights that makes Australia the country that excites and entices me more than any other. A multi-instrumentalist of great depth and insight, yet he deploys his immense talent in the service of The Music, rather than himself. He puts his energy into platforming others, lending his talents to accompanying more often than soloing- which he could do with ease. Countless Australian musicians have benefited from his generosity of spirit. I’m a fortunate visitor who has done likewise (Including a handful of concerts together in 2026)
