The hands of Austral’s Angus Barnaby & Caity Brennan joining my
“super” Supper Club this round of Sandford adventure!

Most Pics here taken by Clermont

Going since 2018, head honcho Gazza approached me at Frances Folk Gathering
in 2016 or 17 as to whether I could do him what I’d done at Frances the last 20 years
and give him safe & secure, let alone pristine, sound! And so we have for 6 years already!

Just a few analogue commitments here! From Lawrie Minson’s Green Gecko analogue Delay / Echo 🙂 unit through to plenty quick compressors, Classic Lexicon Reverb plus plenty “just in case” bits & bobs like de-essing fiddles for that smoother delivery!

Sarah Busuttil – Royal High Jinx!

How happy is the Fest …..?!

Exactly – and even a creek to dip into when the sun belts too hard!
Here meanwhile we pause with bonus performers from Germany/ Oz!

You can tell the good festivals to hang at, when you see Suzy Fagan painting at leisure up the front!

From The Cart Wheels and occasional Supper Clubs, Pete Fidler & Dave Patterson share the relax with friends

Blacktown Jig with the wide view of the heading pic with “Sir” Fidler & Austral’s Fiddlers!

Boss man Gazza soon handing the Festival baton to new Director Chris Langman !

A most surprising rendezvous from 1984- 5! The Brian Young “Longest Chartered Flight Concert Tours” in the world !!! Maybe ! 🙂

And this be David Baines one of our pilots who flew the 1946 DeHavilland Dove – our transport of 3 months criss-crossing Australia. I’ll hunt for a shot from back in the day with David in the group but here was our (my) second tour with our 3rd pilot Ken. But check out our team here – photo taken by my father Karl Heinz Clermont at Adelaide Airport – we played The Tivioli Hotel & The Oakbank Races that visit!

Kevin Gunn WA, myself, Jimmy Little RIP, Johnny Green (Three Chord Wonders & Blues Cowboys after this tour!) our pilot Ken (!), Ken McKay RIP (from Stuart & McKay in the 70s) , Brian himself RIP, and Deanna Brereton (now Rymes)

And back to the dizzy finish of Sandford!

Yes indeed! A certain sense of this was had – particularly when we had to pack the stage after the Sunday evening Finale and aim to be on the road to Melbourne by 3am to drop van AND EVERYTHING to friends shady back yard before hoping on our flight to Amsterdam for 5 weeks of Family, Friends and Meditational finale @ Plum Village near Bordeaux in the south of France!
